When are the 4D draw days?
Malaysia operators (Magnum, Sports Toto, Da Ma Cai, CashSweep, Sandakan STC, Sabah 88) hold standard draws on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Special Draws are announced ahead of time and usually fall on Tuesday. Singapore Pools 4D draws are Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday only — there are no Special Draws.
What time are the results released?
Singapore Pools draws at 6:30 PM SGT and posts results within about 15 minutes. Malaysian operators draw around 7:00 PM MYT, and the full result board is usually visible by 7:30 PM. East Malaysia operators (CashSweep, Sandakan STC, Sabah 88) follow the same 7:00 PM MYT window.
Where can I claim my prize?
Where you claim depends on the prize amount and operator. Magnum: any outlet up to about RM60,000, state office up to RM2,000,000, HQ in Kuala Lumpur above that. Sports Toto: any outlet up to about RM30,000, sales office up to RM500,000, HQ above that. Da Ma Cai: any outlet up to about RM75,000, regional office for higher amounts, head office for jackpot wins. Singapore Pools: any branch up to S$5,000, Main Branch above that. Always confirm with the operator before traveling for a large claim.
Is online betting legal?
In Singapore, online 4D betting is legal only through the Singapore Pools account-based platform. In Malaysia, online betting is restricted — only the operator's own apps and authorized outlets are legal channels. Third-party betting sites are not authorized to sell 4D tickets.
What is the difference between Big and Small bets?
Big covers all 23 winning numbers on the board — 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize plus 10 Special (or Starter) and 10 Consolation numbers. Small covers only the Top 3 (1st, 2nd, 3rd) but pays a higher prize per ringgit on those rows. Choose Big for the widest coverage, Small for a bigger top-prize cheque.
How much do I win?
For 4D Classic at Magnum, Sports Toto, and Da Ma Cai, the standard payouts per RM1 Straight stake are — Big: RM2,500 (1st), RM1,000 (2nd), RM500 (3rd), RM180 (Special), RM60 (Consolation). Small: RM3,500 (1st), RM2,000 (2nd), RM1,000 (3rd). Box and iBox payouts are lower because they cover multiple permutations. Singapore Pools 4D follows a similar structure in SGD; check the official prize table for the current draw.
What is the minimum bet?
The minimum is RM1 in Malaysia and S$1 in Singapore per number, per draw. Stakes are inclusive of GST in Singapore. Box and iBox tickets cost more because each permutation counts as a separate stake.
How long do I have to claim a winning ticket?
Claim windows differ by operator and this is the most common cause of forfeited prizes. Da Ma Cai: 3 months (90 days) — the shortest, easy to miss. Magnum: 6 months minus 1 day. Sports Toto: 6 months. Singapore Pools: 180 days, including weekends and public holidays. After the window closes, unclaimed prizes go to the Ministry of Finance (Malaysia) or the Tote Board (Singapore).
What do I need to bring to claim my prize?
Bring the original winning ticket plus a valid photo ID — NRIC, MyKad, or passport. For larger prizes, the name on the ID should match the name on your bank account because payment is usually made by cheque. Damaged, torn, or marked-over tickets may be refused.
Are 4D winnings taxed?
Malaysia: 4D winnings paid to individual players are not taxed and are not subject to SST. Singapore: lottery prizes from Singapore Pools are not taxable income. There is no winnings tax deducted at the counter, but operators may carry out identity and source-of-funds checks for very large jackpot wins.
What if my ticket is torn or damaged?
4D tickets are bearer instruments — Singapore Pools and Malaysian operators all treat them like cash. A torn, washed, or scribbled-on ticket may be refused at an outlet. If the barcode and printed draw details are still legible, take it to the operator's sales office or HQ instead, and bring your ID.
What is a Special Draw?
Special Draws are extra Malaysia-only draws — usually on Tuesday — announced by Magnum, Sports Toto, and Da Ma Cai a few weeks in advance. They use the same ticket format and prize structure as standard draws. Singapore Pools 4D does not run Special Draws.
Are Magnum, Sports Toto, and Da Ma Cai the same?
No. Each operator runs its own draws with its own winning numbers. A ticket from one operator cannot be claimed at another. The same applies to East Malaysia operators (CashSweep, Sandakan STC, Sabah 88) and Singapore Pools — they are all separate. Always check the operator name printed on your ticket before comparing it to a result board.
Can I check past 4D results on this site?
Yes. Visit the History page to browse past draws by date and operator, or open /number followed by any 4-digit number to see every draw where that number won, across all operators.
